What this website collects
This website keeps no accounts, sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics. It collects only what you choose to write into one of its forms: the contact form, the ceremony request, the guidance request, the gift form and the stay-in-touch form.
The contact, ceremony, guidance and gift forms ask for your name and email address; the stay-in-touch form asks only for your email address, and your name if you wish. The contact, ceremony and guidance forms ask for a message; the gift form asks what you would like to give, how often and for what, with a note if you wish. The ceremony and guidance forms also ask, if you wish to give them, for a phone number, for whom a ceremony is requested and the times that suit you.
Where it goes
When you send a form, what you wrote is sent by email to the people who look after Do Ngak Dzong for Rinpoche, so that they can write back to you. Apart from the stay-in-touch form (below), what you write is not stored in a database, and nothing you write is sold, rented or given to anyone else.
The emails are kept in the mailbox of the person who looks after this website for the center, for as long as they are needed to answer you and to keep a record of a ceremony, guidance or a gift. Write to us at any time and ask for your messages to be deleted, and they will be.
An address left on the stay-in-touch form is kept in the center's list — a database the center keeps with Cloudflare, holding the address, the name if you gave one, which of Rinpoche's sites you signed up on, and when — and is also sent by email to the people who look after Do Ngak Dzong for Rinpoche. It is used to send you the center's letter, and for nothing else. Every letter carries a way to stop receiving it, and writing to us removes your address from the list at once.
The services this website uses
The website is hosted on Cloudflare, which carries every visit and the forms' emails, and keeps the center's list. Its fonts come from Google Fonts. Its videos come from YouTube: a video's picture loads with the page, and YouTube's player loads only when you press play; one page links to a video on Vimeo. When a page loads something from those services, they receive your visit the way any website they serve does, and their own privacy policies apply to it.
Gifts by card
When giving by card opens on this website, the payment will be taken by Stripe, on Stripe's own page. Your card number will go to Stripe and never to this website or to the center.
